After interviewing her while she was pulling hoses during her internship at Errazuriz in Chile, Michael Silacci invited her to intern at Opus One, the renowned Napa Valley winery, in 2004. Nathalie did a second internship in 2005 before joining the team full-time. She is now Director of Viticulture at Opus One Winery and is responsible for all aspects of vineyard management, working directly with Michael.

Julia Van Der Vink is the viticulturist and vineyard manager for Harlan Estate. She has improved their work on sustainability converting the vineyard to dry farming in Napa Valley, while improving overall soil and vine health at the same time. In the midst of the recent difficult vintages she has helped make the vines healthier and more resilient so that they also produce fresher, more vibrant wines.

Under the leadership of Liu Bangfeng, Xichang Tongsun Agricultural Science and Technology Co. Ltd. developed into a key leading enterprise in Sichuan Province in 2018. It has built more than 2000 acres of grape planting area and a winery which can consume about 10,000 tons of grape. At the same time, through cooperation, it has made progress in developing peri-urban agriculture.

Tuscan entrepreneur, oenologist and biologist, Graziana Grassini is considered one of the most influential personalities on the international wine scene. In 2011, She became the “new face” at the San Guido Estate, home of Sassicaia, probably the most famous Italian wine in the world. The Sassicaia were awarded with the Tre Bicchieri and international awards, with the 2015 vintage as No.1 in the "Top 100" by Wine Spectator.

Eva produced her first vintage in the town of Lorch in the northern part of Rheingau. Since then, Eva’s winery grew gradually to 17 hectares (42 acres) that she farms organically, and she also enjoys being the new star on the German wine scene, specializing in Riesling.

María Luz Marin was the first woman ever to work in a Chilean winery which opened as a result countless new opportunities for women in the wine industry and becoming an important milestone of the Chilean wine history. María was a pioneer by implementing a personal project in Lo Abarca, installing the first cellar of cold climate in South America.

Under her direction, Mar de Frades has become one of Spain’s wineries of reference, and one of the most prestigious white wine brands in the sector, receiving multiple awards for both its wines and for Paula Fandiño herself, who in December of 2016 was named one of the most influential female enologists in Spain by the prestigious British magazine Drinks Business.

Since 1997, Han Ying has served as the head of the R&D department of Fenjiu, focusing on the production and research of Zhuyeqing Jiu. She has presided over the research of the main pharmacological properties of Chinese herbal medicine in Zhuyeqing Jiu, the research of color difference standard, the influence of different sugar sources on the stability, the influence of color on turbidity, and the development of green stable Zhuyeqing jiu.

In 1996, she began to work in Corporación Cuba Ron S.A. as a Specialist in technological processes, attending the technological processes in Distilleries. In 2015 she was approved to be part of the Maestros Roneros Movement in the Candidate category and in September 2019 was recognized as a Cuban Master Blender, having the honor of being the second woman with this title in the country and the first woman with this title in her hometown.

She first joined the Speyside distillery in 2014, then progressed to study a Master’s degree in brewing and distilling at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University. In 2018, McKechnie was officially taken under the wing of Scotch whisky’s longest-serving malt master, David Stewart MBE, making her one of the youngest women in the world to hold such an important whisky-making position.
